  • Search this entire website. Enter identifiers, names or keywords for genes, pathways, authors, ontology terms, etc. (e.g. eve, embryo, zen, allele)
  • Use OR to search for either of two terms (e.g. fly OR drosophila) or quotation marks to search for phrases (e.g. "dna binding").
  • Boolean search syntax is supported: e.g. dros* for partial matches or fly AND NOT embryo to exclude a term

TAIR Computational Description: UDP-Glycosyltransferase superfamily protein;(source:Araport11)
TAIR Curator Summary: Encodes a dihydroxybenzoic acid (DHBA) glycosyltransferase. The Col-0 enzyme is responsible for biosynthesis of 2,3-DHBA xyloside and 2,5-DHBA xyloside. The Col-0 enzyme is specific for UDP-xylose and the C24 enzyme uses both UDP-glucose and UDP-xylose. This difference in sugar donor specificity was shown to be largely due to a single amino acid change between the two isoforms.
TAIR Short Description: UDP-Glycosyltransferase superfamily protein
TAIR Aliases: UGT89A2
