Examples

  • Search this entire website. Enter identifiers, names or keywords for genes, pathways, authors, ontology terms, etc. (e.g. eve, embryo, zen, allele)
  • Use OR to search for either of two terms (e.g. fly OR drosophila) or quotation marks to search for phrases (e.g. "dna binding").
  • Boolean search syntax is supported: e.g. dros* for partial matches or fly AND NOT embryo to exclude a term

TAIR Computational Description: RNAligase;(source:Araport11)
TAIR Curator Summary: Encodes a tRNA ligase that resembles the yeast Trl1 RNA ligase in structure and function but very different in sequence. Like Trl1, AtRNL consists of two domains, an N-terminal ligase component and a C-terminal 5'-kinase/2',3'-cyclic phosphodiesterase (CPD) component that can function in tRNA splicing in vivo when expressed as separate polypeptides. Requires a 2'-PO4 end for tRNA splicing in vivo.
TAIR Short Description: RNAligase
TAIR Aliases: AtRLG1, ATRNL, RLG1, RNL, ZYG3
