Examples

  • Search this entire website. Enter identifiers, names or keywords for genes, pathways, authors, ontology terms, etc. (e.g. eve, embryo, zen, allele)
  • Use OR to search for either of two terms (e.g. fly OR drosophila) or quotation marks to search for phrases (e.g. "dna binding").
  • Boolean search syntax is supported: e.g. dros* for partial matches or fly AND NOT embryo to exclude a term

TAIR Computational Description: ferredoxin-NADP[+]-oxidoreductase 1;(source:Araport11)
TAIR Curator Summary: Encodes a leaf-type ferredoxin:NADP(H) oxidoreductase. It is present in both chloroplast stroma and thylakoid membranes but is more abundant in the thylakoid. The affinity of this enzyme for ferredoxin is slightly, but significantly, higher than AtLFNR2, an isoform of the same enzyme. AtLFNR1 forms a heterodimer with AtFNR2 and is also a prerequisite to attach AtFNR2 to the thylakoid membrane.
TAIR Short Description: ferredoxin-NADP(+)-oxidoreductase 1
TAIR Aliases: ATLFNR1, FNR1, LFNR1
