  • Search this entire website. Enter identifiers, names or keywords for genes, pathways, authors, ontology terms, etc. (e.g. eve, embryo, zen, allele)
  • Use OR to search for either of two terms (e.g. fly OR drosophila) or quotation marks to search for phrases (e.g. "dna binding").
  • Boolean search syntax is supported: e.g. dros* for partial matches or fly AND NOT embryo to exclude a term

Gene
Length: 2649
Chromosome Location: Chr1: 655568-658216
Organism . Short Name: A. thaliana
TAIR Computational Description: tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR)-containing protein;(source:Araport11)
TAIR Curator Summary: Mutants defective in this gene were shown to have a reduced PSII content (overall reduction in the levels of several PSII subunits) and a disrupted grana stack structure. The N-terminal half of the protein contains two tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) motifs that are arranged tandemly, each consisting of a 34-residue degenerate consensus sequence. The N-terminal sequence is rich in positive and hydroxylated amino acid residues.
TAIR Short Description: tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR)-containing protein
TAIR Aliases: LPA1
